Draftsperson
Our client is a Hunter Valley based manufacturing business specialising in heavy fabrication for the mining and construction industries. This business has a long and successful history but new owners are setting the company up for future business success. They are investing heavily in people and infrastructure to develop a winning culture and are creating an atmosphere that will foster success.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, our client is looking to expand their team with a self-motivated Draftsperson.

About the role
- Attend various sites to undertake site checks/measuring were required
- Maintain our QA and document standards and details
- Deliver detailed fabrication and assembly drawing packages
- Issue drawing packages and documents as directed, within the project timeframes
- Structural/Mechanical Drafting experience, Tekla and or Autodesk software experience desirable
- Knowledge of mechanical and fabrication processes with trade backgrounds in these areas highly advantageous
- Experience working with clients and design consultancies
- Good communication and general computer skills.
- Enthusiasm coupled with a passion for the construction/manufacturing/drafting industry
- Ability to think outside the “square”
